[EN] On 2020s spring, Desert Island comics launched the challenge 'Rescue Party', a 9 bullets comic with an utopian and positive view of the pandemic we were living. This was one of my collaborations, about the feelings we had when we could finally go out from home after almost 2 months of lockdown in Barcelona.
[SP] En la primavera de 2020, Desert Island comics lanzó el reto 'Rescue Party', cómics de 9 viñetas con una visión optimista y positiva sobre la pandemia que estamos viviendo. Ésta fue una de mis colaboraciones, sobre las sensaciones que tuvimos los primeros días de salir a la calle después de casi dos meses de confinamiento en Barcelona.
No one could remember a sky so clear
Or the many birds flying
We finally made it out
As if it was the first time
Taking up spaces that used to be for cars
Everything feels more alive
There is a deep silence
But that's okay
No need to wake up in such a hurry
